Hydrant Meter Rental Application

Need temporary access to water for construction, landscaping, or other short-term projects? Our Hydrant Meter Rental Application allows contractors, builders, and approved customers to rent a District-owned hydrant meter for temporary water service.

Unlike a permanent residential water meter, which is installed at a specific property to provide ongoing water service, a hydrant meter is a portable meter that is attached to an approved fire hydrant for temporary use only. Hydrant meters must be rented through the District and used in accordance with all District policies and requirements.

  1. Pay District Fees
    Submit all applicable SSCWD capacity and installation fees. Check Form Only 
  2. Schedule Installation
    Once your application and payments are verified, we’ll schedule your meter installation.
