Any time that a customer moves in to a home within Sunnyslope's water service area, they will need to fill out the Start Service application form in the link below.
Our applications are an online process and must be e-mailed in to: billing@sunnyslopewater.org. If you require accomodations please give us a call at 831-637-4670.
START SERVICE AND AUTOPAY APPLICATIONStart Service
If you just moved to a house in Sunnyslope's water service area, starting your water service is one of the first things you will want to do. Until this application form is filled out and submitted along with the supporting documents and deposit, we cannot turn on your water.
To begin water service, please complete and submit the Service Application along with the required documentation.
What You’ll Need
- Proof of ownership or lease agreement (if renting)
- Photo ID for all individuals listed on the account
- Deposit or approved alternative option
Deposit Options

Standard Deposit:
- $300 (most locations)
- $400 (Ridgemark or Quail Hollow)

Auto-Pay Discount:
- $150 ($200 for Ridgemark or Quail Hollow)
- Requires enrollment in Auto-Pay for 3 years

Credit Check Option:
- $50 non-refundable fee
- Minimum 700 credit score required
- If approved, no deposit is required
All documents may be submitted electronically. Deposits can be paid by debit or credit card, or drafted from a checking account if Auto-Pay is selected.

Hydrant Meter Start Service
Please read carefully before applying.
- A completed and signed Hydrant Meter Application with valid photo ID is required and must be approved prior to issuance.
- Hydrant meters are for temporary use only and may be used only at the approved project and location.
- A refundable $800 deposit is due at time of rental. Monthly service and water-use charges apply.
- The permittee is responsible for the meter. Lost, stolen, or damaged meters will be charged the full replacement cost of $2,780.22.
- Monthly meter readings are required. A 10% penalty applies for failure to report usage on time.
- The rental term may not exceed one (1) year. Meters must be returned by the expiration date for inspection.
- Deposits will be refunded within 30 days after return and inspection, provided all charges are paid.
By submitting this application, the permittee acknowledges and agrees to all District requirements and responsibilities.
