On January 15, 2019, Mr. Parker was first appointed to the Board to fill a vacancy created when Honor Spencer resigned her position in December, 2018. He was reelected in November 2020.
Jim and his wife have lived in the Sunnyslope County Water District for over 30 years, and have raised 2 sons here in Hollister. Jim worked for various companies in Silicon Valley, where he was primarily involved in planning, procurement, and program management activities.
Jim is happy to turn his skills toward water stewardship and supports the District's mission to provide safe, reliable, and high quality water. His current term expires on November 30, 2024.
