Ed Mauro was appointed by the Board of Directors during open session at the October 19, 2021 Regular Board Meeting to fill the seat vacated by Judi Johnson. He then ran unopposed in the 2022 general election to retain his position.
Ed recently retired from Palace Business Solutions as Regional Vice President after a 45-year career in the office products and office furniture business.
Ed has been married for 38 years to his wife Barbara and they have a daughter. He has served as President of the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation as well as the Gilroy Garlic Festival and the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce.
Ed was born and raised in Hollister and looks forward to serving the community on the District’s Board of Directors and is committed to the Mission of the District.
