Sunnyslope's service area, and the whole Hollister region sit right between the Calaveras Fault and the San Andreas Fault. As such, we are at a high risk for earthquakes. Earthquakes can be especially damaging to a water or sewer system since so many of our facilities are buried and vulnerable to earth movement. Therefore, Sunnyslope has developed a specific plan for dealing with earthquake emergencies.
