On September 17, 2019, Mr. Buzzetta was appointed to the Board to fill a vacancy created when Robert J. Rodriguez, II resigned in July 2019. He was reelected in November 2020. Jerry has been a San Benito County resident for over 33 years. Along with his wife of more than 41 years, Barbara, they have raised four children and have been active in serving the community.
Jerry is a retired San Jose Fire Department Battalion Chief, serving 33 years as a first responder. He holds a BS Degree from SJSU in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management. Jerry has spent over 30 years serving as a Rotarian, a coach-official-teacher for football, baseball & soccer teams, a volunteer for Beautiful Day and local churches. He is also a certified Life Coach.
Jerry enjoys serving the community on the District's board and is committed to the District's mission. His current term expires on November 30, 2024.
