Dee was first appointed by the Sunnyslope Board of Directors during open session of the July 21, 2021 Board Meeting to fill the seat vacated by Ann Ross. She then ran unopposed in the 2022 General Election to retain her position.
Dee comes to the Board of Directors with an enthusiasm for community service. She worked in public education, teaching at all levels, preschool through post-graduate, and in various administrative positions. She has been active in San Benito County as a real estate broker since 1998.
She and her husband, Robert, have two adult children---Laura who resides in San Diego, and Matt, who lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Dee served three terms on the Hollister School District Board, and is looking forward to contributing to the community, serving the Sunnyslope County Water District and its customers.
